Last year a box set was released to compile six of Blonide’s studio albums from 1976 to 1982.
USM have now announced that these albums will be released as ‘breakouts’ (separate discs from the box set) on May 4th.
New York New Wave outfit Blondie enjoyed huge success around the world from the late 1970s onwards. Their pop sensibility mixed with their post-punk sounds spawned hits such as ‘Call Me’, ‘Atomic’, ‘Heart Of Glass’ and many more.
The band, fronted by sex-symbol Debbie Harry, were known for mixing a variety of styles including pop, rock, reggae and hip hop, while maintaining credibility as a new wave band.
All six titles will be pressed on 180gm heavyweight vinyl, complete with a download voucher.
