The Blutgott metal universe continues apace, with assorted singles being released ahead of the epic Death Of The Bloodking album that’s due in October via Metalville Records.
This July we have ‘Fall Of The Skull Mountain (Debauchery Version)’, the opening track from the album.
Set in the eastern realms of Dark Eden, on the border of the Underworld, ‘Fall Of The Skull Mountain’ tells the epic tale of the battle for Knochenheim, where the Blood God hordes of Balgeroth clash with the Legion of Luziferon. The track takes listeners deep into the dark lore of the Blutgott universe, combining cinematic worldbuilding with relentless metal intensity.
The song delivers a powerful blend of melodic death metal, dark fantasy storytelling, massive grooves, and an anthemic chorus.
It was preceded in June by ‘Sturm Der Blutdrachen (Balgeroth Version)’, the fifth single release, which featured artwork painted by Thomas Gurrath.
‘Legacy Of The Bloodking (Debauchery Version)’ came before that, the song taking listeners on a journey into the dark underworld of the band’s own Blood God universe. Musically, it moves somewhere between melodic death metal, classic heavy metal, and death metal, with plenty of groove and a catchy chorus.
