Care Of Night Live At Sweden Rock Festival

Melodic rockers Care Of Night release new album Live At Sweden Rock Festival, on 28th March, via Frontiers Music Srl. Ahead of that, out now is the single ‘Heart Belongs’ and its accompanying video, taken from the recording,

The band commented  by saying: “It feels great to release a live album, like all our musical heroes did in the 70’s and 80’s. Sweden Rock Festival is an institution when it comes to rock and metal music in Sweden. To be asked to play with Care Of Night was an honour and something we’ve dreamed about since childhood. Most of the band has been yearly visitors to the festival for many years and it was an incredible feeling to experience it from the inside. Huge thanks to Sweden Rock and the outstanding audience for showing such massive support. We hope to be back there soon and that this album will transport you to great concert memories and warm festival nights!”

About the first single, they added: “’Heart Belongs’ is one of the tracks we just have to play live. Greatly demanded by fans and full of energy and power. Written long before the debut EP, it is actually the oldest song still played by the band. An amazing show closer!”

Playing classic ’80s melodic rock with a slightly progressive feel to their songs, following the release of their third album Reconnected, their first for Frontiers, the band returned to the stage for a very special occasion, by being invited to play in front of more than 15,000 people at Sweden Rock Festival. The band took the chance to record their performance and, together with the label, it was decided to release the tapes as they showed a great and new side of the band’s sound.

To round up the release the band presents two original demos from when they just started to find their sound. Care Of Night on those earlier tracks features Jens Andersson (Vocals), Jonathan Carlemar (Guitars), Kristofer von Wachenfeldt (Keyboards, backing vocals), Fredrik Lager (Bass guitars) and Linus Svensson (Drums) – Svensson being the only member remaining in the current line-up with then now featuringCalle Schönberg (Vocals), Viktor Öström Berg (Guitars), Niklas Svensson Nattfare (Bass guitars, backing vocals), Victor Berg (Keyboards, Backing vocals).

Live At Sweden Rock Festival features: Love Equals War’, ‘Street Runner’, ‘Contact’, ‘Your Perfection’, ‘Stay With Me’, ‘Dividing Lines’, ‘Melanie’, ‘Ivory Tower’, ‘Cassandra’, ‘Tonight’, Heart Belongs’ and as a bonus track ‘Last Forever (2012 Demo)’ – You can order it here.
