Charlotte Wessels, the Dutch singer, songwriter and producer best known as the former frontwoman of Delain, has announced her first ever headline tour across Europe and the UK in February 2027, taking her band The Obsession on a 19-date run with Melissa Bonny of Ad Infinitum in support.
The announcement comes just days after Wessels and The Obsession returned from their biggest tour to date, joining Epica and Amaranthe on the Arcane Dimensions Tour performing in arena-sized venues across Europe.
Charlotte Wessels said: “After the unforgettable Arcane Dimensions tour with Epica and Amaranthe, announcing our own headline tour across Europe feels surreal. It’s such an emotional next chapter. The energy we’ve shared with all of you over the past months has been incredible, and we can’t wait to take that even further, with longer sets, new songs, and deeper moments together every night. Finishing the tour in my hometown Utrecht, at TivoliVredenburg Ronda, is something I’m especially proud of and looking forward to.”
Since launching her solo career in 2021, Wessels has carved out a unique artistic identity defined by cinematic storytelling and a fearless fusion of styles bridging metal, alternative and dark pop. Her 2024 album The Obsession, released via Napalm Records, earned widespread praise, with Louder Sound calling it “an auspicious and metallicized spin on her dark fairytale aesthetic.” Recent singles include the VOLA collaboration ‘Backup Plan’ and the brand new ‘After Us, The Flood’.
