Crown The Empire UK Tour Dates

Dallas rockers Crown The Empire have been making incredible waves across the pond following the release of their sophomore Rise Records album The Resistance: Rise of the Runaways. With a little help from their beloved fans (lovingly referred to as “Runaways”) the record smashed into the Billboard Top 200 at number 7 before securing the coveted number 1 spot on the Rock, Hard Music and Independent charts. Oh, and the LP also made the Top 5 on the Digital charts. Not too shabby at all!

Produced by the ever talented Dan Korneff (Pierce The Veil, Paramore) and mixing / mastering courtesy of Kris Crummet (ISSUES, A Lot Like Birds) and Joey Sturgis (The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice & Men), The Resistance: Rise of the Runaways is the awesome follow up to 2012’s debut full-length offering The Fallout. With record sales for The Fallen in excess of 60,000 and magazine covers a-plenty, world domination is beckoning for Crown The Empire. An absolutely relentless touring schedule has found them sharing stages with stalwart acts like The Used, Pierce the Veil and our very own metalcore maestros Asking Alexandria. The band are currently wrapping up a string of dates on the Vans Warped Tour – on which they have been delighting thousands of fans during every show on the Monster Energy main stage. The guys will then be revving up for a national headlining tour which will kick off on 30 August. Support will come from Volumes, SECRETS, Ice Nine Kills and The Family Ruin. We are thrilled to announce that a European / UK tour will follow suit with Asking Alexandria, The Ghost Inside and SECRETS. There seems to be no stopping this young six-piece at the moment. The band took the gong for “Breakthrough Band” at the Alternative Press APMA Awards this last week and they are the cover stars of the magazine’s current (July) issue which is sure to build even more support for the new record. Oh, and they’ve just launched a brand new website for your viewing pleasure. Phew! You lucky devils. You can check it out here: www.thisistheresistance.com.
