Female fronted Polish heavy metal act Crystal Viper have released a new special, limited edition EP entitled At The Edge Of Time that is out now on AFM Records.
Crystal Viper were founded back in 2003 by singer, guitarist and composer Marta Gabriel. They released five studio albums, single singles and compilations, and toured in more than 15 countries from 2007 and 2013 when health issues prevented Gabriel performing.
This was remedied last year when the band reformed to record Queen Of The Witches and play live across Europe. Now they follow that through with the release of At The Edge Of Time that is available as 10″ vinyl and digital download. It features five new recordings: the headbanging speed metal title track (in both English and Polish version), an alternate version of ‘When The Sun Goes Down’ as featured on Queen Of The Witches, a new song in ‘When Are You’ inspired by fantasy writer Michael Moorcock’s work, and a previously unreleased cover of new wave of heavy metal Birmingham band Quartz with ‘Tell Me Why’.
Crystal Viper now feature Marta Gabriel on vocals, guitars, piano, Andy Wave on lead, rhythm and acoustic guitars, Tomek ‘Golem’ Danczak on drums and percussion and Blaze J. Grygiel on bass guitar and acoustic guitar. The cover for At The Edge Of Time was painted by Andreas Marschall and the EP available now.
