Damien McFly ‘Years and Years’ New Single

There’s something refreshingly honest about Damien McFly‘s approach to music. The Italian singer-songwriter has just dropped new album for those who care, and the title alone tells you everything about where his head’s at.

Take ‘Years and Years’, the album’s latest single. It’s built on a simple premise: no matter how carefully you curate your circle, people will still surprise you, and not always in good ways. “There’s no right answer, you just have to learn to be ready for anything,” McFly explains.

For those who care was recorded in McFly’s living room next to a busy Padua street, you can actually hear cars rushing past on the quieter tracks. His drummer of ten years, Paolo Masiero, laid down beats in his own studio while bassist Riccardo Loriggiola captured his parts at McFly’s place. It’s organic, raw, and completely intentional.

This isn’t McFly’s first rodeo. He’s clocked over 500 shows across 15 countries, played SXSW twice, and racked up nods from MTV, Rolling Stone, and Billboard Italia. His previous album Frames hit 800,000 streams, and Stellantis even nabbed his track ‘Leap’ for a global campaign.
