Def Leppard Vol 4 Collection Rarities Imminent

Not content with the release of their Greatest Hits alongside a UK tour with Extreme as their special guests, arena rock act Def Leppard continue apace, issuing their complete recorded output in hefty collections, with Volume 4 of a six-volume series due on 13th November this year.

“At last! It’s here! Volume 4 gathers together our remaining studio albums and some very interesting bonus material,” say the band. “Some of the bonus bits are quite recent but there is also something that was lost in the vaults for over 33 years until earlier this year. We’re extremely excited to finally put this box set in front of you, it’s a great listen and a good read too!”

Available as both 180g vinyl and limited-edition CD box sets via UMR, Volume 4 features the band’s studio recordings from 2015 to 2023, presented in their original packaging across both formats. Alongside them is an extensive selection of rare tracks curated by Joe Elliott, many of which appear on vinyl and CD for the first time. All albums have been mastered by Ronan McHugh at Ro’s Garage.

Housed in rigid box sets, each edition includes a hardback book featuring rare photography by Ross Halfin and liner notes by Classic Rock‘s Paul Elliott. Band members Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, Rick Allen, Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen also contribute exclusive interviews.

With more than 110 million albums sold worldwide and two prestigious Diamond Awards in the USA, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Def Leppard seem to have got their second wind and show no signs of slowing down. This year has seen their third sold-out residency in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace, sold-out shows across the UK, Europe, South America and Mexico, and Def Leppard’s Greatest Hits entering four UK charts, debuting in the Top 10 on two of them.

In 2027, Def Leppard will head across the USA for a 45-date tour beginning on 2nd March and running through to 2nd July. For every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to City of Hope, one of the largest and most advanced cancer research and treatment organisations in the United States, helping advance groundbreaking research and innovative treatments for people facing cancer.

Four-time Grammy-nominated band Goo Goo Dolls and very special guests The Struts will be on board for what sounds like quite a ride.
