Download Festival reveals 12 more artists for 2023 line-up

Download Festival’s 20th-anniversary celebration just got even bigger with the addition of a dozen more acts to its already impressive line-up. The festival, which will be held at Donington Park from June 8-11, 2023, has also released the stage splits (see below) for all four days. Among the newly announced performers are Cancer Bats, Casey, Hundred Reasons, Puscifer and State Champs. They will join headliners Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot and Metallica who will each perform two headline sets without repeating any songs. Tickets are still available on downloadfestival.co.uk.

Puscifer is set to make their Download debut this year thanks to Tool and A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan. Meanwhile, Canadian hardcore punk band Cancer Bats and Hundred Reasons are both returning after long absences from the festival scene. Other notable additions include Casey from Wales, New York pop punk group State Champs and daredevil rock’n’roll favorites Cherry Bombs. Finally, Welsh TikTok sensations Punk Rock Factory have earned a spot in the Main Arena after their memorable performance in The Village last year.

Download will feature a diverse array of musical acts, including the dramatic post-hardcore group Static Dress, the punk rockers from the South coast known as SNAYX, the Australian alternative quartet RedHook, and Rituals – winners of Kerrang! Radio’s The Deal competition. Kicking off with their intense Newcastle metal sound, Rituals will be opening up The Avalanche Stage.
