Esprit D’Air are heading out on a seven-date UK tour in February 2027, and it doubles as a celebration of just how far this fiercely independent band have come.
The run supports their latest album Aeons, which entered at #1 on the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart with no label and no management behind it, a remarkable feat for a self-built operation. It also marks the tenth anniversary of their debut album Constellations, so expect a setlist that bridges a decade of their distinctive sound.
The tour begins at Birmingham’s Asylum on 12 February 2027 before heading to Cardiff, Leeds, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Nottingham, wrapping up at London’s The Garage on 19 February 2027. The band have kept up a relentless live momentum, selling out shows across Europe, and vocalist and producer Kai says the timing feels right:
“We’re heading to some cities that we haven’t visited in a few years, so it feels like the perfect time to reconnect with fans across the UK. Aeons reaching #1 was a huge moment for us, and with Constellations turning ten years old, it feels like the right time to celebrate where the band started and where we are now.”
Fans can expect a career-spanning double set, pulling together material from Aeons and Constellations alongside favourites from across the catalogue, all built on the band’s cinematic electronics, melodic Japanese vocals and heavy guitar-driven sound.
Esprit D’Air is led by guitarist, vocalist and producer Kai, also a current member of The Sisters Of Mercy, with Vincent Velazco (ex-Ghost, Pendragon) on drums, Takeshi (ex-MergingMoon) on bass and Yusuke on guitar. An award-winning alternative metal act known for fusing melodic vocals with heavy riffs, they operate entirely independently, handling everything from production to release.
