Fight The Fade Get Gangrene

Known for pulling together influences from rock, metal, and electronic music, Fight The Fade has a new single out entitled ‘Gangrene’.

“‘Gangrene’ is about how toxic anger can be,” explained Fight The Fade. “If you allow it to fester, it will just spread until it consumes you. The funny thing is, generally the only person that suffers, is the one holding on to that anger. It’s nasty, but it’s something I think we’ve all found ourselves in.”

Previously they brought out ‘Eye Of The Hurricane’, the third single from their new album, slated for release in late 2024 from FiXT.

‘Eye Of The Hurricane’ serves as a rallying cry for the defiant and the determined. The song’s lyrics speak to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity, urging listeners to find their strength and rise above the chaos. It addresses the experience of feeling overwhelmed by someone who exudes self-importance and channels the frustration of being overshadowed by such individuals, likening them to storms devoid of substance.

Evolving from its initial lyrical concept, the track underwent a transformation with the addition of storm sound effects in the bridge, immersing listeners in the midst of a tempest, effectively capturing the intensity and chaos of the situation.

“I think we’ve all had someone in our lives who thinks the world revolves around them,” said Fight The Fade’s Zene Smith. ‘Eye Of The Hurricane’ is a battle cry to anyone who has felt steamrolled by one of those people. Many of those people are all thunder and no lightning.” ‘Eye Of The Hurricane’ is out now on all platforms here and you can check out the video here at RAMzine.
