Glenn Hughes has released his second single ‘Let It Shine’ on YouTube, taken from his forthcoming album Resonate released on Friday 4th November by Frontiers Music Srl.
Featuring Hughes on vocals and bass with his regular band of Soren Andersen (guitar) and Pontus Enborg (drums), plus new keyboard player Lachy Doley, ‘Let It Shine’ follows on his first single, previously previewed at Ramzine, ‘Heavy’.
With the Resonate album’s release date set to coincide with Hughes’ UK tour it is unfortunate that special guests Living Colour have decided to pull off the tour, since their blend of funk and rock would have been highly compatible with the former Deep Purple member’s own work. Fortunately, Hughes and his fans can continue to wear and smile on their faces and let it shine themselves as a spokesperson from Hughes’ management has revealed that: “Up and comers Stone Broken have been added to the bill,” a Midlands band who’ve been gathering quite their own following this last year.
As for the headline act, “Glenn promises a magical night of rock with tracks spanning his entire career alongside some brand new tracks from his album Resonate.” Management plug over, let’s look forward to the tour!
