Hear In This Moment’s epic cover of Phil Collins’ ‘In The Air Tonight’

When Maria Brink, and In This Moment, announced their new album ‘Ritual’ – one of the stand out tracks was a darker take on the classic Phil Collins track In The Air Tonight. Check out the official lyric video below:

Front-woman Maria Brink had this to say:

“We can’t reproduce what [Phil Collins] did in a million years.  It’s one of the best songs ever.  We did our own interpretation and made it a little more sinister, like our ritual”.

The track is taken from their sixth studio album, ‘Ritual’, released July 21st via Atlantic Records.

“When fans hear [‘Ritual’], I want them to feel the music, whether they take away sadness, anger, or happiness,” tells IN THIS MOMENT’s lead guitarist, Chris Howorth.  “As a kid, I remember listening to records and putting them on repeat over and over again. I’d love for the world to listen and absorb this as a piece of work.”
