Joan Jett And The Blackhearts have announced their first UK headline tour in 16 years, with five dates confirmed for July 2026.
The Godmother of Punk and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will bring hits like ‘I Love Rock N’ Roll’, ‘Bad Reputation’, ‘I Hate Myself For Loving You’ and ‘Crimson And Clover’ to Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Wolverhampton and London across the first week of July, wrapping up at the British Airways ARC on July 8.
Joan Jett said: “We can’t wait to be back on stage in the UK this Summer! I wrote and recorded Bad Reputation, my first solo LP in London. It’s been too long since we’ve been in the UK and we’re excited to see everyone!”
Support comes from UK Britpunk duo The Meffs, fronted by vocalist and guitarist Lily Hopkins. Known for their politically charged lyrics and DIY ethics, they feel like a fitting pairing for an artist who has been blowing the door to the boys’ club off its hinges since 1979.
2026 also marks the 45th anniversary of two of the band’s most groundbreaking albums, Bad Reputation and I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll. To celebrate, special edition product and exclusives are planned, and Live At The Ritz NYC 1981 was released on vinyl for the first time on Record Store Day (April 18). With eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles across a career spanning more than four decades, Joan Jett remains one of the most iconic and enduring figures in rock and roll.
Tickets go on general sale this Friday, April 24 at 10am via AEG Presents.
