Her DVD and album Blues From The Heart Live just released, British blue rock guitarist Joanne Shaw Taylor has also brought out a new single and music video, in a cover of the classic ‘Summertime’ also featuring guitarist Joe Bonamassa.
Blues From The Heart Live was recorded and filmed at The Franklin Theatre in Franklin, Tennessee on January 20, 2022, and features several guest performances.
Her first live performance in two years, the concert featured the lady herself on vocals and lead guitar, Rob McNelley (guitar), Steve Mackey (bass), Jimmy Wallace (keyboards, piano),Nick Buda(drums), Devonne Fowlkes (backing vocals), and Kim Fleming(backing vocals).
The live performance is available as a CD/DVD and CD/Blu-Ray package and includes a collectible 24-page CD booklet.
The audio was produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith at Blackbird Studios, Nashville, and was mixed by Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden) at The Cave, Australia.
