Kingdom Of Giants will release their new album, Usurper, on 13 November via SharpTone Records, and have shared the video for new single ‘Reign’.
It is their first album since 2020’s Passenger. With members scattered across the US West Coast, the band chose to write together in person, in Long Beach, Northern California and Las Vegas. For the first time, singer Dana Willax produced, mixed and mastered the record himself.
“Even though start to finish it only took us eight months, it feels like it’s 15 years in the making,” said Willax. “It felt good to all be jammed into one room and hash out all our ideas in person like the good old days.”
About ‘Reign’, he added: “This song has a couple of my favorite parts from the entire record, the breakdown in particular was very fun to mix and I’m hoping it hits live.”
After six years away and plenty of roadblocks, it is good to have Kingdom Of Giants back.
