Lamb of God Announce New Album Into Oblivion

2026 is already shaping up to be something special, and Lamb of God just made it official. The Richmond metal titans return on March 13 with Into Oblivion, their tenth studio album and first full-length in four years.

The title track dropped alongside a genuinely unsettling video that channels serious The Ring energy, creeping dread. This is a fist-pumping stomper built on epic riffing, with Randy Blythe’s iconic voice cutting through nicely on the chorus “Into Oblivion”.

Guitarist Mark Morton puts it simply: “It feels nice to be untethered from any agenda beyond rallying around the notion of, ‘Let’s just make music that we think is cool.'” That freedom shows. Blythe doesn’t mince words about the album’s themes either, noting it addresses “the ongoing and rapid breakdown of the social contract, particularly in America.”

The earlier singles set the stage perfectly. ‘Sepsis’ paid homage to the early ’90s Richmond underground that shaped the band, while ‘Parasocial Christ’ delivered a three-minute anti-tech thrasher.

For UK fans, the band headlines Bloodstock Open Air on Friday, August 7. They’re touring North America from March 17 with Kublai Khan TX, Fit For An Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg in tow. This is shaping up to be the heaviest trek of the year.
