Melvins announced as first headliner of Temples Festival 2016

This weekend has seen the first headliner announced for the 2016 edition of Temples Festival. As the festival organisers confirmed;

“The Melvins will headline Saturday, June 4th alongside a diverse and tasteful selection of artists – for what’s set to be one of the heaviest & most memorable days in the history of Temples Festival. With over forty bands now announced and many more (including two headliners) still to be unveiled, we’re firmly on course for another monumental weekend”.

The festival is now approaching its 3rd year in exisitence and has gained considerable popularity with in a short space of time. Held in Bristol, United Kingdom. The two previous year, both of which boasted a completely sold out crowd have played host to such bands as Clutch, Electric Wizard, Pig Destroyer, Repulsion and many more.
