They’re back! Motionless In White have dropped ‘Afraid Of The Dark’, their first new music of 2026, and it lands just in time for their UK arena tour kicking off next month. Time to dust off the werewolf jacket.

This track hits with intensity! Chris Motionless delivers those howls perfectly, his voice soaring over a melody that carries serious All That Remains vibes. The metallic fury blends with electronic embellishments in a way that feels both nostalgic and completely fresh. And yes, there’s a BLURGH in it.

The song marks twenty years since those five kids from Scranton, Pennsylvania first climbed into a tour van with no idea what the road ahead would bring. Chris recalls how they broke down two hours in, sleeping on a rest stop floor during a snowstorm, scraping together every cent to fix the van and get back on the road. That determination never wavered.

I remember seeing some young, skinny boys with white painted faces sitting backstage at Download over ten years ago, buzzing just to be playing a festival. Look at what they’ve become. Honestly, it makes me proud. Motionless In White are one of metal’s most exciting, constantly evolving bands right now.

The bridge on ‘Afraid Of The Dark’ gets you right in the feels. The message of refusing to fear the unknown, of taking control of your destiny and running headfirst into it, is something we can all relate to. This is the drama we love, the drama we need.

The accompanying music video sees the band putting their striking visual image together perfectly, a reminder of why they’ve always stood out from the crowd. After their #1 album Scoring The End Of The World and the platinum success of ‘Masterpiece’, this new era promises something special.

Motionless In White return to the UK in February for arena shows across Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, Dublin, Cardiff and London, with Dayseeker and Make Them Suffer supporting. They’ll then join Bring Me The Horizon across North America this spring, including Madison Square Garden.

Honestly, I can’t wait to see them live.
