Southern California post-hardcore stalwarts Movements have shared a new single, ‘Live By The Sword’, ahead of their fourth album Happier Now, out 4th September via Fearless Records.
A sonically frantic exercise built on hushed vocal chants and guitar-forward motion, ‘Live By The Sword’ is powered by the mid-tempo tension that has become a definitive hallmark of the band’s sound. It clangs, it clatters, and it is everything fans of Movements know and love.
The single joins earlier cuts ‘Dissolve Me’, ‘Everything Is Fine’ and ‘Separate’ on a twelve-track record that finds the band leaning into their trademark blend of melody and unease.
Movements head out on a US headline tour across autumn 2026 with Balance and Composure, Midrift and NIIS, though UK dates are yet to be announced.
