Dark Matters Part II Videos from Odd Crew

Bulgaria’s prodigious musical architects, Odd Crew, celebrated their 25th anniversary with a new single in ‘In Silence’, the release of their new album Dark Matters Part II via Drakkar Entertainment earlier this month, and a new video for the track ‘You Are But One’ out now.

“’You Are But One’ is a dark story about the two worlds that live in us – the world of a child and that of an adult, and as time goes on we swallow the bitterness that life brings us,” the band commented.”It is about the purity everything begins with and how it gets subsequently tainted and depraved over time.”

You can check out the video here at RAMzine, alongside previous video release ‘Wings On A Burning Wind’.

“When we were composing the Dark Matters tetralogy we gave ourselves full freedom for experiments,” said the band. “We wanted to add Bulgarian folklore motives in our music for a long time now as they give the feeling of merging your soul with nature. ‘In Silence’ is a song about the eternal fight between good and bad, black and white, false and true that every person has inside.”

The eight tracks featured on Dark Matters Part II build upon the foundations laid by its predecessor, and is said to weave a sonic tapestry of intensity, emotion, and technical prowess, inviting listeners to explore the uncharted dimensions of sound.

As the second instalment of the Dark Matters saga, this album dives deeper into the enigmatic themes that have captivated fans since the very beginning. Lyrically and thematically, the band contemplates the uncharted territories of existence, introspection, and the mysteries that lurk beneath the surface of reality. Each track is a page turned in the exploration of the shadows, as the band exposes the intricacies of the human psyche and the cosmos.

Dark Matters Part II features the tracks: ‘Wings On A Burning Wind’, ‘In Silence’, ‘You Are But One’, ‘Closer’, ‘On To The Sun’, ‘Thin Air’,  ‘Witching Hour’ and ‘A Thousand Smiles’.
