A short and rather bleak EP entitled A Brief Excursion Into Lo-Fi Melancholy by the Danish/Norwegian experimentalists Picture Ann is out now via Bandcamp and literally every other digital retailer out there. Musically speaking, the four compositions veer more toward minimalism and ambient music than previous releases by the cursed outfit but as is usually the case, you can expect melodies and motifs inspired by thoughts of grief and nostalgia while the atmosphere is one of deep-seated longing.
