Primaluce’s Way of Perfection

Paris-based progressive metal project Primaluce is back in the picture with two brand new videos airing ahead of their new album, Way Of Perfection, due out on 13th February via Primaluce Records.

Written by rhythm guitarist, keyboard player, backing vocalist and programmer Stefano Primaluce, from whom the band takes their name, Way Of Perfection features Andrea Rocchi (lead and acoustic guitars), Marco Adami (bass), Michele Avella (drums) and Falco (vocals). The album was recorded at Colosseum Sound Factory in Rankweil, Austria.

Aardschok Magazine regarded Primaluce‘s previous album, Dark Mirrors, as one of the best rock and metal albums of 2025. That release was notable for exploring fractured identity and inner conflict. Way Of Perfection is said to push that narrative forward, shifting its focus toward acceptance and evolution: “A continuation rather than a reset, expanding Primaluce‘s emotional scope while sharpening its intent.”

This is also Primaluce‘s first fully vocal album from a project that has been developing for over a decade.

Described as being built on classic progressive metal foundations, Way Of Perfection also has the range and openness to reach beyond the genre’s usual borders. Rather than chasing technical excess, the band explores the tension between control and release, precision and emotion, with melodic intensity and cinematic atmosphere.

This is reflected in the aforementioned videos. Album opener ‘The Wind Remains’ offers a sense of scale and atmosphere, while ‘Running Out Of Yesterday’ focuses on momentum and reflection. You can check out both videos here at RAMzine.

Tracks featured on Way Of Perfection are ‘The Wind Remains’, ‘Back Into The Blue’, ‘The Turning Of The Circle’, ‘Countdown At Dawn’, ‘Running Out Of Yesterday’, ‘Heart Of The Moment’, ‘When The Light Returns’, ‘Stand In My Name’, ‘Black Static Halo’, ‘Echoes Of Tomorrow’, ‘In The Tides Of Time’ and ‘Where The Water Meets The Stone’. The album will be available here.
