Rewind The 80s Music Festival, the world’s first and biggest music festival celebrating that decade, returns with three UK festivals during summer 2015 with former Rainbow and Deep Purple vocalist Joe Lynn Turner putting in a live appearance during the Rewind Scotland event.
Rewind Scotland returns for a fourth year at Scone Palace, Perthshire from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th July and will also feature live performances from The Orchestra featuring former ELO members, Hue & Cry, Hugh Cornwell from The Stranglers and Bruce Foxton appearing with From The Jam, Mike & The Mechanics’ Paul Carrack, and Dave Edmunds.
The following month Rewind North puts in a repeat performance at Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire between Friday 7th and Sunday 9th August with Dr & The Medics getting all psychedelic and The Boomtown Rats telling you why you won’t like Mondays, and finally, Temple Island Meadows, Henley-on-Thames is the place to be for Rewind South’s seventh consecutive year over the weekend of Saturday 22nd to Sunday 23rd August with the likes of T’Pau, Midge Ure, and The Stray Cats’ Slim Jim Phantom playing live.
