After earning their reputation by setting legendary New York City rockers SickWalt unleash their debut full-length album Shove n’ Love, on X-Ray Records.
If follows two self-released EPs, and two singles taken from the album. Word had it Shove N’ Love was a kickass album “with enough energy to pick you up off the couch and drop you in the middle of a sold-out Saturday night show in NYC,” and now you can find out for yourselves.
Fronted by Walt ‘Sick Walt’, Matt Middleton on guitar, Rob Buckley on bass (Cro-Mags, Urban Sun, M-16) and Eric Arce on drums (The Misfits, Murphy’s Law, Skarhead, Maximum Penalty), SickWalt is an unapologetic New York City rock n’ roll band from Astoria, Queens.
The band got together in 2014, SickWalt and has since earned a reputation as a live act, their sound compared to the likes of The MC5 and early AC/DC.
Described as “an addictive, head-bobbing, toe-tapping song with blazing crisp guitar riffs” you can try out the band’s sound via either of the singles released.
