Stray From The Path reveal new album

Genre skipping lads Stray From The Path have revealed their brand new album for release later this year.

The new album from the four-piece will be titled Anonymous and is due for release this September. Guitarist Tom Williams gave a few words on the development of the new record:

“The ‘AllStars’ tour was great. It felt good to play new material for the first time in a long time. The best thing we got out of this tour was the reactions to our new single ‘Badge & A Bullet.’ Opening with it everyday and seeing people react to it got us excited for the release of Anonymous. We never tried to re-create Make Your Own History, so we stepped aside and created Rising Sun. We didn’t want to re-create Rising Sun, so we stepped aside and we created Anonymous. We will never be a band that gives you the same record more than once. There are plenty of bands that do that for us.

The idea behind Anonymous is doing something selflessly because you think that it will be better for the human race. What we want to accomplish with this record is to raise awareness for things that concern us with our country, share personal issues throughout our lives and bring you a record that is heavy, fresh and powerful. The main musical focus of Anonymous is to capture the universal language, that is, bobbing your head. Everybody can feel it, no matter what style of music, people can feel the flow. We want to harness that feeling and bring it to the masses across the world.”
