The hometown of the Titanic, Southampton plays host to TakedownTwenty13. Takedown is a festival with 30+ rock, metal, and punk acts on the bill. So far the line-up includes:

With a killer line-up like this i’m pretty sure I don’t need to sell these acts to you! If you haven’t been to Southampton before, its defiantly a town worth travelling to. Southampton benefits from having a large town center, with all your weekend away needs – many restaurants, shops, hotels, and bars. If your looking for some culture, you might even fancy a trip to the titanic museum, or a nice walk along the ‘wall and vaults walk’.
If your thinking ‘what the hell is she on about’ don’t worry! Southampton is also great for a party! and has a wide selection of nightclubs, and bars located within walking distance of the town center. There will without a doubt be an after show party after Takedown!
