Greek black metal act Temple Of Katharsis has brought out a video for ‘Inside The Medieval Crypt’, a track featured on their recently released debut album, Macabre Ritual.
Out on Theogonia Records, Macabre Ritual is a sinister journey that delves deep into the realms of satanism, anti-religion, death, darkness, and war. With influences drawn from both the Scandinavian and Greek black metal scenes, Temple of Katharsis has crafted a sound that is said to be “unyielding, intense, and hauntingly captivating.”

Tracks featured on Macabre Ritual are: ‘Abyssal Cold Void (Intro)’, ‘The Burning Flood Of Antichrist’, ‘Erasure Of Religious Existance’, ‘In The Dungeons With The Rats’, ‘Ο Αρχιερε?ς Των Λ?κων (The Archpriest of the Wolves)’, ‘Inside the Medieval Crypt’, ‘The Kingdom Of Hades’ and ‘Macabre Ritual.’
The album is available in jewel case CD and digital formats, and include a 12-page booklet, that includes lyrics and other cryptic information, guiding one deeper into the cryptic abyss of Macabre Ritual.
Featuring bass and vocals by Hellmaster 666 (recorded at H12 Audio in Thessaloniki), guitars by Zeratul (Recorded at Dark Templar H/Studio in Kalamata), and featuring drums by Nodens, it was produced by Major and mixed and mastered at H12 Audio. The collaboration between Temple Of Katharsis and these studios has said to have “resulted in a meticulously crafted sonic journey that will envelop listeners in a world of darkness and despair.”
Having made waves in the underground black metal scene with their demo, EP, and split album releases, Temple Of Katharsis has established themselves as a formidable force in the genre, they have shared stages with the likes of Septic Flesh, Rotting Christ, and Gaerea.
