The Blackout have revealed the next single from their most recent album, Start The Party, will be none other than their party-rousing track, Radio.
Lead vocalist, Gavin Butler, commented on the song choice for the new single:
“In keeping with the title of our album Start The Party this song is an upbeat, party anthem. Gets you jumping about and singing along. Big old crowd chants! Lyrically though the song is a tongue-in-cheek stab at the current trend of some musicians who shoe-horn in other peoples choruses into their own songs! At the time of writing the album, it seemed rampant on the radio, with everyone doing it. I’m a fan of a good cover or clever sample but when it’s an entire chorus ripped and stapled into another song it annoys me!”
Radio will be released April 8th, check out the video below!
