Hailing from Athens in Greece, Eternal play thrash metal and they’re about to hit us with their debut album, Conspiracy Of Warheads, that’s out on 2nd October through Floga Records.
Across ten tracks, Conspiracy Of Warheads channels the speed, precision and political distrust of ’80s thrash into a record shaped by Eternal‘s own experiences as a young band developing through writing, recording and extensive live performance.
Since forming in Athens in 2022, Eternal have shared stages with Suicidal Angels, Amken, Karma Violens, Among Ruins, Gehennah, Terrorhammer, Biocancer and Typhus. They released the demo ‘No Escape’ back in January 2024, followed by ‘Bloodspill’ in May 2025. Both tracks return on the new album, now presented as part of a full-length record reflecting the band’s development over two years of writing, recording and live performance. At the centre of the record is its title track, ‘Conspiracy Of Warheads’, an anti-war song confronting the narratives used by governments and military powers to justify conflict while remaining distanced from its human cost.
Elsewhere, Eternal turn their attention to retaliation, reckless behaviour, distorted reality, social pressure and psychological confinement. The band favour clearly defined subjects and direct points of view, keeping the writing grounded and confrontational even as the themes become darker.
Conspiracy Of Warheads was produced by Eternal, featuring Nick Pogas (vocals, guitar), Spiros Pexos (guitar), Nick Tsaousis (bass) and Alex Archaniotis (drums), at various studios in Greece. Tracks featured are ‘My Way Or No Way’, ‘Man Down (In The Front Row)’, *’Beware…’*, ‘Bloodspill’, ‘Adrenaline Rush’, ‘Theatre Of Thrash’, ‘Conspiracy Of Warheads’, *’Fake Reality’*, ‘No Escape’ and ‘Madman’s Playroom’.
Rooted in thrash metal’s speed, discipline and political distrust, their debut is said to be shaped by their own environment, outlook and growing reputation as a forceful live band.
‘Man Down (In The Front Row)’ is the latest in a series of video releases the band have made. A fast, direct account of the chaos surrounding live music and touring, crowded venues, loud amplifiers, late nights and the consequences that can follow.
