The Iron Horses will release their new single ‘April Rain’ on 8th December through Golden Robot Records.
Back in 2015, over In Sydney, Australia singer Duncan Welsh and guitarist Ciaran Loughran began writing songs on a weekly basis; “Over numerous late night, boozy, jam sessions” its been said. Once bassist Peter Holt (Not to be confused with the Climax Blues Band’s former bass player) and drummer Rahul Ranjit joined they headed to the studio and released what would be Stop to Start, their 2016 debut EP.
Continuing to broaden their influences in an ever-changing music world, The Iron Horses subsequently released ‘What Did You Expect’ and ‘Two Kinds of Lover’ in the same year. They followed that earlier this year with the layered guitars and harmonic vocal number ‘Traffic’.
‘April Rain’ is an up tempo, bright and breezy number that’s been described as taking “a page out of their fellow countrymen Crowded House‘s play book.”
