Former Avail frontman Tim Barry has signed to Xtra Mile Recordings and will be releasing his brand new album with them later this year.
His new record, 40 Miller, is due to be released on November 5th in the UK and Europe. Tim commented: “If this record is uplifting compared to my old ones it’s because I feel stronger from all the beat-downs and shit I’ve taken in the past.”
The record is said to encompass a folk country sound whilst sticking to the signature Americana sound Tim is famous for in order to create a more raucous, rocking album. 40 Miller also holds many varied and unique inputs in the form of organs, harmonicas and the vocals of Richmond songstress Julie Karr. The album was recorded with a rooster of fellow Richmond musicians that Tim wanted to bring to the foreground and give them the exposure they deserved.
And as if this wasn’t enough, Tim has announced he will feature as support to Frank Turner on his extensive UK tour.
