Toronto Is Broken teams up once more with Reebz for a turbulent nu-metal-infused drum & bass single ‘Breed‘.

Featuring a brutal vocal performance from Reebz, ‘Breed’ ventures deeper into rock territory. The track sports a decidedly malevolent atmosphere as it explores themes of mental illness as seen from the inside out as featured in the lyrics. W

ith the track the pair also dropped the official music video that perfectly illustrates the themes in black and white macabre fashion that are found in the single, and you can check it out here at RAMzine.

‘Breed’ also features a brutal, pulse-hammering guitar performance and production work from George Lever layered with turbulent rhythms from start to finish. The single is another example of Toronto Is Broken‘s skills at fusing genres into something complex, new, and uniquely his own.

Christian Hoffmann, better known as Toronto Is Broken, is a British DJ and producer based in Leicestershire. Hoffmann’s initial venture into the world of music started out with a guitar whilst at school, and after various attempts to attract bands with his passion, he went on a solo mission to produce electronic music inspired by Enter Shikari’s first album Take to the Skies.

Several years of work and perseverance later, Christian went on to be picked up by the UK bass label Sub Slayers, run by former Kiss FM and RAM Records president Jay Cunning. His first release The Move It EP received high praise and featured ‘Spirit Song 2012’, played by everyone from Paul Oakenfold to Sub Focus – It was also used as the main piece in the Arcadia Spectacular show at festivals all over the world.

Reebz has been described as “the new creepy kid on the electronic block.”

Previous single release ‘Drip Feed’ features a brutal vocal performance from Reebz, and is a fusion of rock, metalcore, and drum and bass with alternative metal tacked in.

Reebz’s creaming vocals are laced between driving guitars and hypnotic beats the track and the single is out now on all platforms via FiXT and you can check out the video for ‘Drip Feed’ here at RAMzine.
