Twilight Force Unveil ‘Magic of a New Dawn’

Swedish symphonic power metal heroes Twilight Force have signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records, and honestly, this feels like a match made in some enchanted realm. To mark the occasion, the band have released a brand new single, ‘Magic of a New Dawn’, complete with a lyric video that does exactly what you’d expect from this lot: transports you straight into a world of heroic quests and sparkling adventure.

And you know what? This is such happy music. Metal often leans into darkness and intensity, it’s genuinely refreshing to hear something so unapologetically uplifting. ‘Magic of a New Dawn’ is a triumphant burst of bright melodies and soaring orchestration that puts an involuntary grin on your face.

As keyboardist Blackwald puts it regarding the new track: “Whenever gloom and hardships arise in your path, remember that there is always hope and magic.”

The band will be hitting the road throughout 2026, including dates with Visions of Atlantis in Gothenburg and Copenhagen this month, appearances at Epic Fest and Mad With Power, plus a “Mostly Canadian Tour” alongside Alestorm and Greyhawk running through May.

With Napalm Records behind them, there’s every reason to expect a new full length album is on the horizon. For now, ‘Magic of a New Dawn’ is a sparkling taste of what’s to come, and if this is the direction they’re heading, the future looks bright indeed.
