Review: Damage Source – Come Deterioration

‘Servants’Nothing like a bit of Old School crossover at all! The thunderous layers of snarling riffs are plentiful and surge mightily through the speakers. The gruff low toned growled vocal gives edge and stability to the track as it fires on all cylinders. In mesmeric form it twists and turns into one organic track!

‘Erection of The Cross’The flamboyant riffs are ripe and ready to intoxicate and believe me they do! As this track breaks out from its restraints it is clear to see it shares its energetic prowess with the first track although this one prefers to go a rampage and leave you somewhat bemused at its hardiness.

‘Ozymandias’This track simply wriggles from the speakers in chugging brutal form! In a cascade of pure inventiveness its perfection oozes from every sound contained within in it. Dynamic and simply bounces with groove it is a winning track to behold.

“The German based metaller’s have produced a fiery and intense peek into the life of brutalism done their way. Definitely one for the collection!”

‘Further Descending the Unholy Path to Deterioration’No strolls or ambles here as the kick beats blast to within an inch of their lives, it strives for attention already possessing a keen appetite for destruction as it ladles mega tons of riffage through a barrage of beats. The vocals are again low toned and bristle with magnetic rebellion.

Into Grinding Storms of Flesh – This track has a sharper tone of savagery and striking in delivery. Once you get your breath back – this may take some time! From start to its end it unravels a fascinating proposal of sounds that blend together in unholy fashion.

Superb EP from Damage Source. It is an emotive force that gathers all its elements together in a big metal pot and delivers on listening. Its tendrils reach out and throttle you at every corner, persuading and flirting violently with eager smacks of bass and definitely an EP worth listening to and buying.
