Alternative/nu-metal outfit A Killer’s Confession have linked up with internationally recognised producer Zardonic for a brutal/drum and bass reworking of ‘In Case Of Emergency’ featuring JMANN, out now via MNRK Heavy.
The remix drops Zardonic‘s signature drum & bass aggression onto the original. A track that brought together A Killer’s Confession frontman Waylon Reavis and fellow ex-Mushroomhead vocalist JMann as the lead single from 2025’s Victim 2. The result pushes the song into harder, faster territory, threading industrial menace through breakneck breakbeats and bass-heavy production that lands somewhere between mosh pit and warehouse.
For anyone unfamiliar with Zardonic, he has spent over two decades pioneering the fusion of drum & bass and heavy metal, with a touring footprint across more than 40 countries and a catalogue closing in on 200 million streams. His remix and collaboration credits include Fear Factory, Bullet For My Valentine, and Nine Inch Nails, and his work has topped Beatport’s Drum & Bass charts as well as Amazon’s Hard Rock & Metal rankings.
A Killer’s Confession themselves continue to carve out a distinctive space within modern alternative metal. Led by Reavis, the band fold industrial textures, alt-rock weight and electronic detail into cinematic songwriting, with the Victim trilogy serving as the conceptual spine of their current era.
The band have kicked off a US run with Kottonmouth Kings, with stops including Denver, Pittsburgh, Worcester, Houston and Dallas through May, before wrapping in early June.
