The new side-project from members of Thin Lizzy alongside drummer Jimmy DeGrasso (Alice Cooper/Megadeth), Black Star Riders, have released a lyric video for their debut single.
Bound for Glory is set to feature on the group’s debut album entitled All Hell Breaks Loose. Frontman Ricky Warwick commented on the meaning of the song:
“Bound For Glory – a song for the lost but never lonely, walking tall in the face of everyday adversary, everyone has a story to tell, revolution begins in the mirror!”
Guitarist Scott Gorham added his reasons for making the song the first single from the album:
“When it came time to pick one of these songs as a single, we had a really hard time. There are so many really great tracks here and everyone had their favourites. But in the end, we all agreed that Bound for Glory is the perfect choice and represents what Black Star Riders is all about.”

All Hell Breaks Loose is due for release in the UK on May 27th via Nuclear Blast. The band have also confirmed a UK show with an appearance at this year’s Hard Rock Hell in Wales on November 29th.
