Bloodstock 2018: Jasta, Venom, Inc. and more added to festival line-up

A new year and a new Bloodstock Festival announcement. Another hand full of great bands have been added to the 2018 line-up:

On the Ronnie James Dio Stage on Sunday, Jasta & Friends.

This is the new project lead by Hatebreed/ Kingdom Of Sorrow/Icepick -Jamey Jasta. The ‘and friends’ part refers to the possible special guests to appear alongside him on stage. This includes Kirk Windstein of Crowbar, Down, and Kingdom of Sorrow. Jamey had this to say:
“I’m beyond excited and honoured to have my first UK show with JASTA be at the mighty Bloodstock Festival! So many legends have graced the Bloodstock stages, we will channel their energy and give the fans a killer set with some special surprise guests!” 

Geordie black metal legends Venom, Inc have been added to the Saturday bill. Playing classics and tracks from their latest album ‘Ave’. 

Saturday’s Sophie Lancaster stage headliners have been announced as Israli metallers Orphaned Land.

Last but certainly not least are Danish prog metal band Vola on the Sophie stage on the Saturday

They will join already announced Friday night headliners, JUDAS PRIEST, Saturday headliners, GOJIRA and Sunday’s bill toppers, NIGHTWISH, as well as EMPEROR, DEVILDRIVER, WATAIN, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, WEDNESDAY 13, FOZZY, COMBICHRIST, BLOODBATH, MR BIG, KAMELOT, DORO, ORDEN OGAN, SEPTICFLESH and MEMORIAM so far, 2018 is shaping up to be another stellar year for BLOODSTOCK.
