If headliners Rob Zombie, Trivum, Within Temptation plus the many other bands on the bill weren’t enough – more bands have been announced for Bloodstock 2015.
Sludgecore legends Raging Speedhorn return, and will be playing the Ronnie James Dio stage. Bassist Gordon Morrison had this to say:
“We’re over the moon to be playing BLOODSTOCK 2015. It’ll be awesome to share the stage with some of our old friends like Orange Goblin and Napalm Death. See you down the front!”
British prog-metal mob Xerath are added to Friday’s line-up. The band enthuse: “We are utterly stoked to announce we will be returning to Catton Hall once again to perform at this year’s Bloodstock festival. We are especially proud to confirm we will be gracing the mainstage for the first time since our debut at the festival in 2009 which promises to almost certainly be a career defining moment for the band. We sincerely cannot wait to see you all there! Warm up those necks Bloodstockers!”
The Sophie stage on Sunday will see French groove-metallists Treplaium as well as Dutch death metal monsters Villainy. And on Saturday, rising British band Godsized take the stage.
Bands already announced include: Friday’s headliner TRIVIUM, special guests SABATON, Saturday’s headliner WITHIN TEMPTATION and special guests OPETH, Sunday’s headliner ROB ZOMBIE, special guests BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, CANNIBAL CORPSE, IHSAHN, SEPULTURA, ORANGE GOBLIN, DEATH T.A, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, 1349, NAPALM DEATH, DARK ANGEL, ARMORED SAINT, BELPHEGOR, OVERKILL, ENSIFERUM, AGALLOCH, KORPIKLAANI, PRO-PAIN, ENSLAVED and WOLF. Plus over on the Sophie Lancaster stage, there’s headliners DELAIN, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE and GODFLESH, LAWNMOWER DETH, MORDRED, ETHEREAL, ONSLAUGHT, OAF, PRITCHARD VS DAINTON, CONAN, PLANET OF ZEUS, BAST, SAILLE, BATALLION and DESTRAGE.

Bloodstock 2015 will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 6th-9th August 2015.
