Gascon duo The Inspector Cluzo has released ‘Globalisation Blues’, a new song taken from their novel new album Brothers In Ideals that’s due out in the new year.
There new album will in fact be last year’s UK breakthrough album, We, The People Of The Soil re-recorded acoustically. The idea sprung from the pair recorded an acoustic set for Arte-Deezer in the home of Arthur Rimbaud back in 2016, and the response proving so favourably. Thus in Nashville, over four days with Vance Powell at his studio they laid down tracks not actually intended for public release but, on hearing the results, had a change of hearts.
“We were not planning to release it … But it is our own label and we do what we want. We never have a career plan…We just follow our artistic desire,” said Laurent, their vocalist.
The Inspector Cluzo has also released a video for new single ‘Globalisation Blues’ that takes in studio and American tour footage that you can watch here at RAMzine.
Following last year’s UK tour supporting Clutch and their appearance at the Download Festival this summer, The Inspector Cluzo return to the UK for their own headlining UK early next year, dates are listed below and further information can be found by clicking here.
