Easy Action are Dazed!

Easy Action are back with a new single and video, ‘Dazed’, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.

“‘Dazed’ is about living in the post-truth era with fact-spinning politicians and deep-faking AI in a synthetic reality, when you no longer can believe your eyes, nor your ears. It’s been worth the wait, I promise,” said lead singer Tommy Nilsson.

The Swedish hard rockers have plenty of history worth revisiting. Formed in 1983 and signed by Seymour Stein to Sire Records, Easy Action became the first Swedish hard rock band to land a major US deal, with their eponymous debut arriving the following year. Within a couple of years they were scoring chart positions with their singles.

As more major labels came calling, guitarist Kee Marcello was offered a place in Europe, a move that led to three world tours and co-writes on two multi-million selling albums. That pulled Easy Action apart, while Nilsson went on to a hugely successful solo career at home in Sweden.

In 2019 the band reunited to play the Sweden Rock Festival, and the crowd response relit the fire, pushing them back into writing new material.

Now featuring Nilsson and Marcello alongside guitarist Chris Lind, bassist Nalle Påhlsson, keyboardist Jörgen Ingeström and drummer and backing vocalist Björn Höglund, Easy Action have a new studio album ready. ‘Dazed’ is drawn from it, folding prog influences into their established AOR sound.

With 2026 marking the 40th anniversary of their That Makes One album and a fresh record on the way, a festival tour beckons.
