Foo Fighters forced to pull out of Glastonbury, Wembley and Edinbrugh shows

Foo Fighters have had to pull out of their Glastonbury Festival headline slot and Wembley Stadium show due to Dave Grohl’s injury.

This is following the news that Foo Fighters front man, Dave Grohl, has broken his leg after falling off stage whilst playing a gig in Sweden.

A statement on the band’s website reads:

Due to injuries sustained in Dave Grohl’s fall from the stage during Foo Fighters’ June 12 show at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden, doctors have required the cancellation of the remainder of the band’s dates in the UK and Europe”.

The cancelled Foo Fighters shows are as follows:

  • 19 and 20 June – London, UK – Wembley Stadium
  • 23 June – Edinburgh, UK – BT Murrayfield Stadium
  • 25 June – Werchter, Belgium – Festivalpark Werchter
  • 26 June – Glastonbury Festival 2015

A fan caught the accident on their phone:
