Hella Rock Reveal Crobot And New Roadcrew Stage

Hella Rock Festival are proud to announce that American groove masters Crobot will be playing the Phil Campbell stage at this year’s event, alongside a brand new wave of acoustic acts joining the festival’s first ever Roadcrew Stage.

Known for their signature blend of groove-laden riffs, swagger and explosive live energy, Crobot have built a reputation as one of the most compelling modern forces in hard rock. Fronted by Brandon Yeagley alongside guitarist Chris Bishop, bassist Willie Jansen and drummer Nico Jansen, the band deliver a sound rooted firmly in their self-coined “Dirty. Groove. Rock.” ethos. Raw, unfiltered, and unmistakably their own.

We really like the historical weight of this booking. Crobot‘s inclusion on this year’s bill provides a genuinely poignant link to the legacy being honoured at Hella Rock Festival 2026. In 2015, the band toured alongside Motörhead on their 40th anniversary run, a historic series of shows that would mark the final tour of the legendary group led by Lemmy Kilmister. Those performances placed Crobot on stage during the closing chapter of one of rock’s most influential bands. Bringing them back for a tribute to Phil Campbell‘s legacy turns this from a strong booking into a properly meaningful one.

For the first time in the festival’s history, Hella Rock is also opening up a second stage. The Roadcrew Stage will host acoustic sets from The Soul Revival, Jack J Hutchinson and Black Water Fiend, giving fans a whole new way to experience the festival across the day.

Festival director James Pilling said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Crobot to this year’s Hella Rock Festival. They bring a massive, groove-driven sound and a real modern edge that fits perfectly with what we’re building. Big riffs, high energy, and unforgettable live shows. Crobot‘s connection to this festival comes full circle, having joined Motörhead on their final U.S. tour in 2015, which adds a real sense of history to this year’s lineup. For the first time at Hella Rock Festival, we’re also opening up a second stage, The Roadcrew Stage, which will host acoustic sets from The Soul Revival, Jack J Hutchinson and Black Water Fiend, giving fans a whole new way to experience the festival.”

Hella Rock Festival 2026 takes place on Saturday 5th September 2026 at HMV Empire Coventry. Doors open at 12pm with the first band on stage at 1pm. The event is a 14+ show with under-16s accompanied by an adult.
