Wisconsin-bred guitarist Jared James Nichols has been making a name for himself on UK shores in recent times, touring in support to the likes of Zakk Wylde, Glenn Hughes and Walter Trout as well as headlining his own club dates and he’ll be back again this June to July, coinciding with the release of new single and video release via Listenable Records.
‘Last Chance’ is already available for digital download from Amazon and was produced by Tony Perry (Aerosmith guitarist Joe’s son) and Nichols himself, was mixed by Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Anthrax).and features drummer Aquiles Priester (Angra, WASP, Tony McAlpine).
“‘Last Chance’ is easily the hardest-hitting song I’ve ever wrote,” said the guitarist. “I completely let it all hang out and went wild! Even the guitar solo is off the wall, blazing fast, and absolutely crazy. I needed to set the bar high for the new record and come out with a bang!” The single will be followed this September by Nichols’ new studio album Black Magic.
His UK tour dates start on Wednesday 21st June and include two festival appearances at Ramblin’ Man Fair (29th July) and Steelhouse Festival (30th July) plus support slots with UFO.
Working in the classic rock power trio format with Nichols on guitar and vocals the band is ably rounded out by Dennis Holm on drums and Erik Sandin on bass and vocals.
