With King King’s current single ‘(She Don’t) Gimme No Lovin’’ currently a hit on Planet Rock radio and their fourth studio album Exile & Grace due for release on Friday 6th October things could not be looking better for the award-winning band. However, Ramzine can reveal lead singer and guitarist Alan Nimmo has been beset by a throat condition leading to the band having to postpone their previously scheduled tour.
This is not the first time that the band has had to deal with a situation like this and cancel a tour because of it. Regardless, it is presumed fans need not concern themselves overtly over Nimmo’s health as the band have already rescheduled new dates for January 2018.
The new dates are London Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Wednesday 17th January, Birmingham Town Hall on Thursday 18th January, Bath Forum on Saturday 20th January, Edinburgh Queen’s Hall on Friday 26th January and Sheffield, Leadmill on Saturday 27th January.
Those who have purchased tickets for the October tour can use them for the new January dates, while new tickets are available from the 24 Hour Box Office on0844 478 0898 and can be ordered from www.thegigcartel.com.
Meanwhile, we wish King King’s Alan Nimmo a swift recovery!
