Metalite’s Cyberdrome

Out now is Metalite‘s new studio album, Expedition One, with the Swedish band also unleashing their latest single,‘Cyberdrome’.

“It has been a hell of a ride with a lot of singles released over a time period of almost a year,” said the band of their 16 song long album, adding their thanks for getting there thus: “Thanks to everyone involved in the release, Hansen Studios for the great mix and master, Darkgrove for the wonderful artwork, Vassfjord Foto & Media for great pictures, Bullsize, Ted Linden for the great videos, Aimed & Framed for great lyric videos, AFM Records (Nils, Florian, Marcel etc), families, friends and of course our fans. Hope you’ll enjoy the album as much as we do!”

It follows previous single release ‘Aurora’, regarding which they said: “In the symphony of the cosmos, our song ‘Aurora’ seeks to dignify the celestial phenomena that illuminate the darkest corners of the north. Like the Northern Lights, we weave a tapestry of classic Metalite style, infusing it with swirling energy and daring to explore new elements. Embrace the luminous journey as we celebrate the cosmic dance that brings light to even the most shadowed realms.”

Metalite‘s singles are available on all digital streaming services here and you can check out their related videos for it here at RAMzine.

The full track listing for Expedition One is: ‘Expedition One’, ‘Aurora’, ‘CtrIAltDel’, ‘Cyberdome’, ‘Blazing Skies’, ‘Outer Worlds’, ‘New Generation’, ‘In My Dreams’, ‘Disciples Of The Stars’, ‘Free’, ‘Legendary’, ‘Paradise’, Sanctum Of Light’, ‘Utopia’, ‘Take My Hand’ and ‘Hurricane’. It will be available through AFM Records.

In October, they released ‘New Generation‘ as one of those many singles, describing it as “A powerful anthem dedicated to our younger generation,” further noting, “They are the driving force behind positive change, tirelessly fighting for their rights, meaningful causes, and a cleaner environment. These inspiring individuals continue to challenge societal norms, striving to make the world a better place.

“Our mid-tempo banger is a tribute to their unwavering dedication. It’s a rallying cry for those who believe in our future and refuse to back down from their convictions. Join us in celebrating the relentless spirit of these change-makers and their commitment to a brighter tomorrow!”

Expedition One tells a fictitious story about life on our planet in the year 2055. The band’s upcoming magnum opus inspires with a wide range of diverse compositions and an intelligent sci-fi story that couldn’t be more topical. In addition, their fourth album offering manifests the musicians’ amazing artistic development. Metalite‘s visionary sci-fi trip is told over sixteen multi-faceted songs that combine the quintet’s strengths: powerful and at the same time delicate guitar riffs and solos, anthemic melodies courtesy of vocalist Erica Ohlsson, driving rhythms and cleverly positioned keyboard parts.

Expedition One was produced by guitarist Edwin Premberg, and was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen and you can check out the video for ‘New Generation‘ right here at RAMzine.

Back in August, the band’s second single to be taken from the forthcoming album was ‘Blazing Skies‘ and Metalite commented. “The song is truly a blast in a classic Metalite style and it feels that we have leveled up a few steps since last time. We hope everyone will like it and we looking forward to play it live!”

“In the past four or five years, our sound has evolved considerably,” explained Premberg. “The quality of our production in particular has progressed considerably since our debut.”

You can also watch videos for ‘Blazing Skies’ and previous single ‘Disciples Of The Stars’ here.

The singles are available on all digital services here and Expedition One can be pre-ordered here,
