Powerwolf are undoubtedly one of the most successful breakout heavy metal bands of recent years, finding worldwide acclaim. With several #1 chart entries and multiple gold and platinum albums, Napalm Records have now confirmed that the latest release Wake Up The Wicked, will be released on July 26, 2024.
Naplam also confirmed that you can get a taste of Powerwolf’s live shows by ordering one of the formats including the bonus album Manhattan Metal Mass – Live in New York City, recorded at their first-ever US show. Having seen Powerwolf live myself, I can highly recommend checking out the live album and grabbing tickets to see the band for yourself where possible.
Wake Up The Wicked is the successor to 2021’s successful Call Of The Wild, and will be released just in time for the wolf’s first-ever full North American tour, which gets kicked off in August 2024 and will be followed by their biggest European headline tour to date, the Wolfsnächte 2024.
Wake Up The Wicked sees the band working with producer Joost van den Broek again at Sandlane Recording Facilities. The new album is described as being “Hard, surprising and full of variety, while staying true to their established, loved sound.”
