Love & Pain with Generation Landslide

Comprising former members of both Cold Sweat and Lillian Axe, Las Vegas’ hard rockers Generation Landslide has released their third single in ‘Love and Pain

Described as “Your boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back again scenario,” you can download it on Apple Music, streamed it at Spotify and check out the video right here at RAMzine.

The video was produced by Anthony White and Jennifer Swanson and directed by Jennifer Swanson and stars Stephanie Kappus. It was shot at the Tone Factory Recording Studio in Las Vegas and at the Backyard Bar in Henderson, NV.

Generation Landslide released their debut album, Ruling The Street Scene, back last November through the Weapon/Vanity Music Group label.

“Sometimes even the smallest decisions can have an impact on a person’s life,” said frontman Anthony White, formerly of Cold Sweat and Cold Gin. “You may think you have made the correct choice, whether it’s a relationship or any other life decision but you need to be prepared for the results.”

The debut album was produced by White and recorded at The Tone Factory in Las Vegas. Ruling The Street Scene is said to be a whirlwind of 80s and early 90s-influenced melodic rock, complete with ocean-wide hooks, singalong choruses and a feel-good vibe that continues throughout the entire album.

“The whole idea was to try and bring back all the elements of listening to an album from front to back that took you on some sort of musical panache. I think it’s a combination of catchy riffs, catchy songs with a bit of a modern feel mixed in,” related White.

The album kicks off with the ferocious ‘Little Miss Lonely’, and you can check out the video here at RAMzine. First single, ‘Feel the Sensation’ follows with heavy gang vocals telling the story of finishing your day job and feeling the anticipation of going wild from seeing your favourite band in concert that night from a spiritual way, ‘Love and Pain’ relates the ups and downs in every relationship and the emptiness of being alone and ‘Are You Out There?’ is a tribute to the late Thin Lizzy bassist Phil Lynott. “I always felt he was an unsung tragedy,” said White.

Alongside White, Generation Landslide features Sandy Stein – Guitars, vocals, Jonathon Swanson – Bass, vocals, and former Lillian Axe member Ken Koudelka – Drums, percussion, and vocals.
