It’s the end of an era, You Me At Six fans! The band has announced that Slam Dunk Festival will be their final UK festival appearance. Get ready to rock out one last time with them and make it unforgettable!
You Me At Six said, “We couldn’t think of a better place to perform our last festival appearance than the festival that first ever booked us. It’s going to be a full circle moment with raw & charged up emotion in abundance. We can’t wait.”
Heightening the Slam Dunk line-up anticipation from across the Atlantic is the esteemed American rock ensemble The Dangerous Summer. Hailing from Leeds, Caskets are set to bring their electrifying metalcore melodies back to the Slam Dunk stage. Additionally, British metal outfit As Everything Unfolds is slated to join in on the action. Following a triumphant launch of Ultraviolet, their sophomore album, they’re poised for a first-time appearance at Slam Dunk after concluding their UK tour in March.
Celebrated as Manchester’s fresh face of hardcore music, Guilt Trip continues to redefine boundaries with their intense soundscapes. Joining them this year is Arm’s Length from Canada; an emo pop-punk foursome that rose to fame swiftly through viral TikTok videos and released ‘Never Before Seen, Never Found Again’ in 2022 – they now venture across to make an inaugural appearance at our festival.
Slam Dunk also welcomes another act from Leeds: Beauty School steps into the limelight as part of a growing roster of talent emerging from the city. This quintet skillfully blends various influences into a refined mix of emotive alt-rock tinged with emo nuances.
The countdown is now officially on for Slam Dunk Festival 2024 – coming to Hatfield Park on Saturday 25th May and Leeds Temple Newsam on Sunday 26th May. Tickets are on sale now via www.slamdunkfestival.com.
