The Black Vultures… They’re Animals!

Hailing from the heart of the Gwent Valleys in South Wales, The Black Vultures is a four piece rock band who’ve just released their debut single, ‘Treat Me Like An Animal’, out now on all digital platforms.

The song is about imbalances experienced in relationships, but treated in a  light-hearted way, with one party treating the other – metaphorically speaking – as a physical animal.

Produced by Tom Williams (DeLour) at Unit 13 Studios, Tredegar, it was mastered by Chris Peet of Norh House Studio, Ebbw Vale.

The band – featuring singer/rhythm guitarist Huw Williams, lead guitarist Aled Owen Jones, bas and backing vocals Evan Bevis-Knowles and drummer Brandon Pritchard – took their name from bands who’ve influenced them, notably The Black Crowes, Black Sabbath and Them Crooked Vultures.

They’ve spent 2023 playing throughout Wales, establishing themselves to a growing fanbase, resulting in the release of ‘Treat Me Like An Animal’. Anthemic, with an upbeat catchy arrangement, you can check out the official video, filmed by Mike Banwell, right here at RAMzine.

They will follow it up in the new year with a second single, ‘Never Say’ due January.
